NIMS 

NIMS Pubman

10/2011 - laufend In connection with the development of the PubMan repository software there has been a long collaboration between MPDL and Japan's National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). The cooperation resulted in the establishment of an own PubMan based institutional repository for NIMS. NIMS uses this platform for the management and worldwide dissemination of their scientific publications.
MPDL keeps supporting NIMS in its efforts by providing helpdesk service as well as regular updates of the PubMan software.

BMBF ICORDI (RDA Europe) 09/2012 - 08/2014 The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is a network of practitioners aiming at improved data and information system interoperability. It fosters a bottom-up discussion and standardization process. Supported by the European Commission through the iCordi project RDA Europe focuses on observing data infrastructure convergence and identifying best-of-breed solutions across Europe. MPDL is engaged in the RDA process on behalf of the Max Planck Society.
DFG INTACT 10/2015 - 10/2018 INTACT is a collaborative open access infrastructure project that brings together MPDL's ESAC initiative, the Open APC platform at Bielefeld University Library, and the working group Open Access Analytics at the "Institute for Inderdisciplinary Studies of Science" (I²SoS) at Bielefeld University. INTACT aims at an improvement of the infrastructure which is needed to ensure a transparent and efficient APC market.

 BMBF OpenBild (XNAT) 02/2013 - 01/2015 XNAT - OpenBILD is a joint platform of three Max Planck Institutes focussing on human brain related research. It is based on the XNAT software platform that facilitates exchange of patient files, brain images MRT scans and other research data. XNAT is open source software developed by an open community. MPDL supports modification, debugging and installation of the XNAT software as needed by the Max Planck institutes.

Analyse, welche Modelle funktionieren können und welche nicht. Identifikation gangbarer Wege für einen geordneten übergang zum Publizieren nach Open Access-Kriterien und Aufzeigen von Entwicklungslinien für das Publikationswesen in Zukunft.
